Blanca and the Well of White Mists

Blanca must flee, but where to? Where is the white dove leading her? And why is it her, and only her, who can fulfill a mission that decides the future of the kingdom? Who is the owl which flies around searching? And what are these legends that since ancient times have told of a battle, of a well of darkness and of a possible deliverance?

Blanca and the Well of White Mists is a story that can be understood on different levels. It is written for age 9-12 but for reading aloud even from age 7, much because of Genevieve Claesson’s expressive illustrations in the book.

The illustrator, Genevieve Claesson, who has created the book cover and 15 black-and-white illustrations, has also made a coloring book for Blanca. It will be available for order in the future. Our idea is that the book about Blanca works well as a read-aloud book, but many children concentrate better on listening when they can also engage in an activity.

We hope that coloring pictures from the story while listening to reading aloud can contribute to a nice time together.
